Lori Zabel

Lori has been a hairdresser for more than half of her life as she will say. She has been working with Redken and Redken products for so long now the only product that was created before she joined is Shades EQ Gloss. Many of the other products, especially color, she has launched or she was there when they were introduced. You may have seen her on a Redken Symposium stage, or at an Exchange class over the years. She also has been featured in many training videos from Principles of Haircolor, Balayage, and Creative Color to product knowledge. Lori has worked overseas on international stages in London, Norway,Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia and New Zealand to name a few She works behind the chair at Dop Dop Salon in NYC, as Creative Director, and prides herself on creating unique wearable looks on her clients. “you have to practice and create the looks you are going to teach in a class or on stage, clients are the best place to do that”. Lori has been a finalist and winner of several North American Hairstylist Awards. Haircolorist of the Year, Haircutter of the Year (yes she cuts hair too!) and People’s Choice Award, and she’s not done yet!
